If You Don’t Do This You’re Missing the Boat!
Hello Team,
One of the biggest mistakes that most new online networkers make that I personally see costs them HUGE in the overall success of their business.
If you’re making this mistake then after reading today’s lesson take action to fix it.
The mistake is this, it’s being lazy.
Most new marketers stop too soon when it comes to following up with there leads. They
think if they can just get them the job is done, and it’s far from done.
Let me tell you why . . .
When you generate a lead in your marketing efforts there will be three different categories of people that come into your recruiting funnel.
Those that are slightly interested, basically just curious as to what’s on the other side of your Black Business Builders lead capture page. They didn’t make the two payments and are now considered “leads” for you. These leads will most likely not take action on anything, but luckily for you this is only a small percentage of your overall results.
The second category of leads that you will generate are those that are extremely interested and most likely will take action immediately on what you have to offer. Unfortunately for you this is also a small portion of the leads you generate.
The third and largest category are all those folks that fall in the middle, they are interested, but not interested enough to take action right now.
It’s with this group that most BBB marketers get lazy and for it lose out in a big way either in terms of profits or in terms of recruits coming into their business.
Here’s a stat that might peak your interest …
A recent direct marketing study showed that of the people that you will generate as leads as many as 80% of them will purchase based on that initial interest you generated within the course of a year.
But when they purchase they purchase from someone else.
Why?
Inadequate follow up.
It generally takes seven to twelve interactions with your leads for them to take notice of what you have to offer, and if you fall short of doing that amount of follow up you’re missing out in a HUGE way.
Once you generate a lead – follow up, and follow up some more.
It’s the easiest and least resistant way to increase your rate of success in your Black Business Builders business without taking on any additional costs.
Stay tuned . . . MARCH FORTH!!!

Lessons from the Super Bowl
Hello Black Business Builders,
If you live in the United States, the recent
Super Bowl gave us a monumental lesson
in overcoming the odds.
I was sitting with my cousin visiting me in Florida
from Atlanta, when it happened.
I personally wanted to see the Giants
win the Super Bowl but my cousin wanted
to witness history, but as fate would happen
it didn’t happen her way.
The New York Giants stepped out on the
playing field with a game plan, a mindset
that knew no failure, and beat Goliath.
After the game an announcer made a comment
that I’ll never forget. He said “You don’t
win a game like that unless you truly believe
you’re going to win.”
Truer words could not have been spoken.
Before the game all I heard were predictions
of how much the Patriots would win by, but
the Giant‘s knew something we didn’t. They
knew they had a chance, they KNEW they were
good enough, and they knew that all they had
to do was step out on the field and make it
happen.
And they did.
The first lesson is, if you believe in
yourself, if you train hard, and you leave it
all out there on the field you can make
anything happen.
It’s no different in your business. Sure you
have nay sayers who probably think you’re
crazy for even entertaining the idea of
becoming completely financially independent
through your network marketing business, but
if you know deep down in your heart that it’s
gonna happen it is.
The second lesson is, immunity to criticism,
Eli Manning was made fun of, called a hack,
and never given a chance the entire season.
It didn’t matter to him though. He just let
it roll off his shoulders and just kept
working hard.
What they thought didn’t matter a bit to him
and now he stands on the victory podium
crowned a true champion. Forget what they
say. Give it your all and stay focused and no
less of a success will come your way.
We are getting members asking a lot of questions
about Black Business Builders that should
already be known and understood. How can
you expect to win, if you don’t train?
You gotta train, you gotta believe, and you
gotta leave it all on the field. If you do
this you’re a winner no matter what the
outcome.

What Do You Do When Your Sponsors a Jerk?
You do all the research, you find a business that you think is a perfect fit for you, you do the research to find a great sponsor, and then when you think everything is matched up perfectly your jump in.
What happens?
You get in and then you get very little support from your upline!
You don’t know what to do or where turn and you start to feel like you’re in this thing all alone.
Well, we’re going to tell you something that we’ll guess you’ve never heard before!
You’re lucky!!!!
Why?
If we looked at the situation objectively the conclusion would be that going in without a sponsor is the way to go.
Now we’re not going to say that is totally true, but . . .
Going into a business without a strong sponsor does have its advantages.
It forces you to go out into the world without expectations and without their system and figure it out for yourself.
You’re forced into a leadership role.
You have to find what works for you and if you don’t there’s nothing to lean on, so it’s really a do or die situation!
You’re forced to go to school and learn.
You have to buy books and information from those who have been more successful than you and then create your own system out of it.
You have to be independent.
If you have a good sponsor you can get lazy. You can rely to heavily on their system and their promise of its effectiveness.
You have a scape goat for when it doesn’t work!
So when you don’t get the success you thought you deserved from all your hard work it’s NOT your fault, it’s your sponsors fault, it’s your company’s fault.
(At least in our mind.)
All we’re saying is, if you’re going to be successful in network marketing your sponsor has little to do with it.
He or she can shorten your learning curve, but it’s up to each and every one of use to define our path to success and become our own leader.
Give Yourself Permission to Succeed
A few days ago I was having a conversation
with a bright young network marketer by the
name of Jason.
Jason told me about his position, the company
he was working for, and how his business was
progressing.
Black Business Builders is only $14.
Jason was promoting a higher ticket item
network marketing product and at the age of a
bright young 20, he was doing well better
than I was at that age. If I could get
someone to stay on the phone without hanging
up in my face at that age I was lucky and
here this kid was growing a thriving
organization.
I gave Jason a lot of credit for that. Jason was
making it happen, but he asked me one
question in our conversation that I think I
should bring up to you as well.
He asked me, in not so many or maybe even a
few more words .. .
“When is the RIGHT time to take my business
to the next level?”
I laughed a little, because it was the exact
same type of question I asked one of my
mentors years ago, and here’s what
my mentor told me, and what I passed on to
Jason.
“When you say it is.”
I think at times we are all at fault for
waiting for permission to take on a
leadership role in our success. It’s like we
wait for someone to give us the go ahead, as
if that mattered.
It’s not about waiting for your sponsor to go
over your ToolBox with you and
give you the go ahead.
It’s about getting into the game.
I’d much rather work with a person who calls
me and says “Ok, Lee I’ve got XYZ set and
running and here are the results and how do I
get better” than someone who waits for me to
tell them when to do what and why.
Wouldn’t you?
Think what would happen if you had a team
full of self starters out there making it
happen and not asking for permission, how
much more alive would your business be?
Here’s how to do it . . .
Do it yourself first.
Your team will see you as a self starter and
they’ll pick up on it and be one themselves
and that’s what you want to really duplicate
in your business isn’t it?
So today before you call your sponsor and ask
there advice on something, get out there and
test the waters, you’ll learn a lot more for
doing it that way, and you’ll take the first
steps toward becoming that leader that
everyone wants to follow.
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green
Three Basic Components of NBBTA
The National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) has three basic projects.
1. NBBTA.Org (NBBTA) - A Black business membership organization – http://www.nbbta.org/
A person can join directly from our corporate link at http://www.nbbta.org/benefits.htm. Membership is currently a one-life, dues payment of $59.95
Or they can be referred by an NBBTA Affiliate who has registered as an Affiliate at https://paydotcom.com/a.page.php?id=4514&u=nbbta. Affiliates earn $30 per new enrollment. You will not see your name on the sign up page. But you will get the credit, if the person uses your link. Like any other affiliate program on the internet ours is no different.
Those are the only two ways people can join NBBTA.Org. Through corporate or through an NBBTA Affiliate.
2. Black Business Builders (BBB) - Our Income generating, public awareness campaign, promoting “Black Business Awareness“. – http://www.nbbta.org/member.html?1
A person can join directly from our corporate link (above) by paying two, one-time payments totalling $14.
Or they can be referred by a Black Business Builders member, who has joined from our link or the link of a current member. The commission is $10 to the enroller/qualified and $4 to NBBTA.
The program is a 2-up compensation plan and the commission of $10 each for the first two enrollments rolls up to their sponsor or the first “qualified” sponsor in their group. To become qualified, you must have made two sales. The third sale is commissionable to you and creates what we call a “Powerline“.
Each person in your Powerline, has to give the commission on their first two sales to you. Those two people each have to do the same and your Powerline grows geometrically … 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and so on.
3. Black Business Space (BBS). – Our FREE Black business and social network, that serves as a positive introduction to our membership and other offerings. In your profile on BBS, you can list your BBB website with ID and your NBBTA Affiliate link and you will get credit as per above.
Visitors to your profile can select to join using your information. The only other money made at Black Business Space (BBS) is from personal or business interactions, referrals and networking .
The answer to your questions really are up to how you want to promote any or all of the sites. You have tools to do that for each. Banners, links, badges, blogs, newsletters, training and websites.
We give you the tools to promote. Don’t do the promotions for you. If you want someone to know about what we offer, you’ll have to reach out to them. When we do promotions corporately, its generally for us. We do have links for Black Business Builders with no ID at the end of the ?. If there is no specific ID at the end the ID‘s rotate each time a new person visits and clicks that link. We do that to give added value, allowing members to earn random commissions from time to time.
Hope that brings clarity. The bottom line is, you do your part and we’ll do ours. Like it gets easier to learn and understand the more you do it.
Peace and Blessings,
Lee
We’re Building a Legacy for Future Generations
Hello Black Business Builders,
A wise man once said, “until we commit we are only taking up space“.
If you look around, I’m sure you’ll start to notice many people that seem
to go through life only taking up space. I want to encourage you as a
Black business owner and entrepreneur to make a commitment to
become the best at whatever you do.
Even though you may find yourself doing something for a living or are called
upon to do a task or project, that you aren’t absolutely in love with, don’t
use that as a crutch for not doing the best you possibly can. Take pride
in your work, keep your word and your reputation and eliminate any
possible excuses that might keep you from performing to the best of
your ability.
Why not examine everything you do in life (even relationships) to determine
if you’ve really made a commitment to do your very best so you end up
with the best possible results.
Black Business Builders will help you “test” your commitment level
because things do start small. And your earnings don’t appear to be very
much in the beginning. And we may not see much change in the Black
community at this point in time. You may be tempted to give up or give
in to the temptation of procrastination. This is the test.
Because as you stay committed and keep focused you will be amazed at
what the end results will become.
As a reminder, visit this site – http://www.nbbta.org/compound.htm
The power of “compounding” is a principle that can’t be denied when applied.
Its pure math. Put in the work and the results will appear. Its just that simple.
What makes things difficult, especially for new business people, is the
lack of focus and the inability to stay the course. There are so many possible
distractions that we can sometimes find ourselves “missing in action”.
But if you do the work correctly in the beginning, your rewards will be great.
Its like anything else in the universe. You must sow BEFORE you reap.
Plant good seed. Invest your time wisely. Study and learn how to use the
tools and you will R.E.A.P. an abundant harvest.
R.E.A.P. is our “Re-Affirmative Action Plan“, that will help bring Black business
awareness to the world and put you in position to earn significant cash flow
for being an active part in this ongoing transformation toward entrepreneurship
and Black business mindedness in the 21st century.
You are pioneering an effort to bring positive change to Black people worldwide.
Go to your Resource Tool Box and watch a newly posted video to see a
great message delivered by my good friend, George Fraser. In it you will get
“nuggets” of wisdom and truth that will help you stay the course for the long
haul. And in the process you will find yourself blessed.
Speaking of tools, another one of our Black Business Builders team
members, David Turner, has created a “Black Business Builders” business card
if you are interested you can learn more by going to this site.
http://www.cdjpromo.com/blackbusinessbuilders.htm
The National Black Business Trade Association is appreciative of everyone’s
efforts at assisting us in reaching momentum in getting the word out about
the importance of Black business and the value we bring to the marketplace.
It’s each of our efforts that will help make this initiative possible and profitable.
We can make a difference. We must do all that we can. So continue to spread
the word and share the profits.
As George says in the video, there is nothing else left for us to do but build our
businesses and establish our wealth. Its what is required in leaving our legacy.

National Blackout Day Report
BLACK BUSINESS BUILDERS
Today is National Blackout Day, November 2nd
We wanted to report that it has been a good day for Black Business Builders who are working the plan.
Actually, its been a good week. We have gained many new members and money is being recycled from member to member.
People have been getting paid and today many have already gotten paid several times. Some have earned $60-$100 today!
Not too shabby for a $14 one-time payment program.
I know for some of you that’s not a lot of money, but you’ve got to admit, it will put gas in your car, buy some groceries, pay your internet fees and perhaps a bill or two.
It is what it is and could help improve anyone’s lifestyle.
In fact, I know that earning an extra $60 – $100 a day will improve most people’s lifestyles across the board!
If I’m lying, I’m flying.
Just think about what you could do with an “extra” $1,800 – $3,000 a month. Would that improve your lifestyle?
Would it take the pressure off and give you some breathing room, or the cashflow you need to really take care of business? I don’t really know, you tell me. Each of us is different.
The good news is, you can do it too and do even more than that every day.
You’ve got to remember that even though we only pay out $10, our program pays instantly. And that alone can be a big factor for you building and growing your business. You don’t have to wait 30-45 days to get paid. You can get paid instantly everyday.
And it doesn’t take a whole bunch of people in your group to make it happen either. You can really do it with just a few.
And you don’t have to wait for people to come up with the funds to join you. Everyone has $14.
How many “Notification of Payment Received” messages would you want to receive every day in your Inbox, knowing that you’ve just gotten paid another $10 bill with each one?
Well, that’s what Black Business Builders can do for you.
All you have to do is share the concept and websites with people and they will join and once you are qualified, you will get paid $10 for each sale over and over again coming from your Powerline !
Its a beautiful thing for Black people to come together, agree and make money.
Besides, its not hard and anyone can do it. You get all the tools as a part of your Black Business Builders Resources and Tool Box Membership to make the program work for you.
Just add a link to your regular email messages as your signature. Post a banner on your website. Use any of the many website campaigns we offer.
Or share Black Business Builders with your favorite forum members or put a flyer together and pass it out or invite your church, fraternity, sorority or civic/social club members to join.
There is no limit to what’s possible because everyone is looking for ways to make additional income these days.
For Black people this is a “no-brainer”. We see what time it is in this country. Its time for us to do some things for and with ourselves.
Why keep joining program after program and getting sucked into all the hype from total strangers?
I know that “FREE” is a favorite word for many people.
In fact, I know people that will join anything that says “FREE” on it.
But at the end of the day, you still will have to work the program and work it hard to get any results and most don’t do that.
Wouldn’t it be better to spend just a few dollars and plug into a system that pays you instantly and find yourself in profit with only a few sign ups?
Wouldn’t that be better than looking for other people who are also just looking for freebies, to do something and hang your income earning potential on “freebie opportunity seekers”?
Some people are just looking for “something for nothing” and that just ain’t happening. After doing a whole bunch of work what they wind up with is nothing.
Keep in mind, those types of programs may not cost you in dollars, but certainly will cost you in credibility, each time you share yet another one of those freebie ”deals” with your friends or mailing list.
At some point, you will have to ask yourself, “how much is doing this over and over again really costing me?”
Black Business Builders is totally different.
This is about Black people working to help other Black people do better in business and in life.
This is about establishing a workable model for economic development within our community.
This is about be a successful living example of the benefits of entrepreneurship as a option to a J.O.B.
Doesn’t that make sense? We provide information, training and tools that will make anyone’s “entrepreneurial journey” much easier. Things that they can use to grow any business.
And the best part is, its a business in and of itself.
As a Black Business Builder, you can “earn while you learn”.
That’s why we’re so excited to see so many of you now getting the point and successfully applying yourselves.
Working and growing together, we all will accomplish much more than any of us just working alone.
Ask Black Business Builders like David Farad, Stan Blackman, Sharon Mayers, Don Williams and Hugh Gaddy, just to name a few. They see this thing growing and they’re making it happen every day and so can you.
You can access your Tool Box and Login Here
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green
National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA)
PS … Just a little “housekeeping”. If you have a different email address listed when you registered than you do for your PayPal or AlertPay accounts, you need to update your Profile. Having two different email address won’t work.
We want you to get paid but if the computer can’t find you, you won’t and your prospective member will get frustrated and blame us. So please check into your Back Office and update your Profiles and Payment Options.
If you are not using both PayPal and AlertPay you should consider it. Giving your prospects more options is good business.
PSS … We have added an “Affiliate” link to NBBTA Headquarters site for anyone interested in earning $30 for each $59.95 NBBTA Membership sale.
Our attempt at rolling out two programs at the same time has caused much confusion and so we are slowing introducing this Affiliate Program to replace the other matrix plan. You can go to http://www.nbbta.org/buildertools.htm scroll to the bottom of the page and enroll for the Free (yes I used the word) Afiliate Program. More information will be forthcoming.
NBBTA still also means, “Nothing But Better Things Ahead”.
Why Do People Fail …. ?
BLACK BUSINESS BUILDERS
Here is a great article written by mail order millionaire Jim Straw…
There has been much written, and said, about why and how people succeed. The contention being that, in order to succeed, you must learn, and then apply, the principles and techniques used by others who have gained success.
But, knowing the principles and techniques used by others who have gained success doesn’t qualify a person to succeed. If it did, all of those who have read and studied the various, and many, books, booklets, plans, and programs on the subject of SUCCESS would, by virtue of their knowledge thereof, be successful.
Statistically, 98% of the people in this country never reach a level of anything more than sustained mediocrity; only 2% ever really achieve success. – WHY?
The answer is simple. – They have never “qualified” for success, because they refuse to “pay their dues.”
These people (the 98%) are so wrapped-up in “protecting” and “maintaining” the level of mediocrity they have achieved that they will not risk one iota of what they have.
It’s like the young boy who, at long last, got his first pair of really fine shoes.
Now, these shoes were exceptionally fine. So fine, in fact, that the boy spent many hours wiping and shining them – while keeping them safe from scuffs, neatly wrapped in paper, in their box under his bed.
A number of opportunities presented themselves for the boy to wear the shoes, but he chose to safe-guard them and wore his older shoes instead. After all, if he wore them, he would run the risk of scuffing them or dulling their glittering shine.
When the day finally arrived, when the occasion was most important, the boy learned, to his disappointment, that his feet had grown and the shoes no longer fit him. (I gave that pair of shoes to a more needy neighbor – and, from that day forward, I have never again been afraid to lose anything.)
Unfortunately, most people are like that boy. – They read all of the books, booklets, plans, and programs about the principles and techniques used by others to gain success. As the boy did with the shoes, they let the opportunities to use what they have learned pass them by – or, they make a half-hearted start, but never continue past their first small and futile attempts.
Why do they hold back? – Because they fear losing what little they have. They “protect” their meager and mediocre position so well that they never lose it.
At retirement age, those people look back with pride at the fact that they have ventured little and lost nothing. But, not unlike the boy and his shoes, they learn, to their disappointment, that that which they protected so well will not sustain them after their retirement and they are forced to seek aid and assistance from their government, family and friends.
Those people have never “qualified” for anything better, because they have never “paid their dues.”
If you haven’t, yet, gained success, look around you. What are you protecting? If you lost it all tomorrow, would you really lose anything of great value?
People fail, not because they cannot succeed, but because they are unwilling to risk what they have. They “protect” their mediocrity until it is all they have left.
The struggle to achieve success is not unlike any great battle in any war. The victorious army is always the one that gives-up the position it has won in order to advance against a better, more advantageous position. Only the losing army stands and defends a mediocre position.
A young Lieutenant once asked a wise General, “Why should we try so hard to reach a position at the top of the hill? As we charge up the hill, our enemies will surely take the positions behind us, and we will lose what we have gained; even if we take the hill.”
The General, a very wise man, replied, “Yes – but, it is much easier to charge down-hill. When we have taken the higher position, we will charge back down the hill and recover all that we have lost. Then, we will charge down the other side of the hill.”
The people who make up the 2% that achieve success are forever charging up the hill – losing all behind them – and then charging back down the hill, on both sides, to regain anything they may have lost and achieve even more success.
Not unlike the losing army, most people will never succeed, because it would mean that they would have to give-up the mediocre position they have protected for so long.
In order to succeed, you must first “lose” your mediocrity. – Success doesn’t happen any other way.
How much money do you want to make in the next 90 day?
Well if you doubled your money by building ONE solid Powerline your money would grow like this:
Week 1 – Get Qualified and start your first Powerline – $10
Week 2 – Help that Powerline person to get Qualified – $20
Week 3 – Work with those two new Powerline members to get Qualified – $40
Week 4- Repeat the process working with 4 Powerlines – $80
Week 5 – Repeat the process working with 8 Powerlines – $160
Week 6 – Repeat the process working with 16 Powerlines – $320
Week 7 – Repeat the process working with 32 Powerlines – $640
Week 8 – Repeat the process working with 64 Powerlines – $1280
Its the end of two months and you have earned a total of $2,550!
Week 9 – Repeat the process to now have $2560 more this week
Week 10 – Repeat the process to now have $5120 more this week
Week 11 – Repeat the process to now have $10,240 more this week
Week 12 – Repeat the process to now have $20,480 more this week
Its the end of three months and you have earned a total of $40,950 with just ONE POWERLINE! How many Powerlines are you willing to build?
Now keep in mind this is simply an illustration. You could earn more or you could earn less. But I think you get the idea.
Now that you have it, let’s do it! We will continue to assist you all you have to do is want it bad enough to be willing to do what it takes. And you will be certain to succeed.
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green

How to Find Black Business Builders Prospects LOCALLY
Where are all the good prospects at? Some people seem convinced they don’t live anywhere near them! I say that because they’ll spend the majority of their time online only posting emails, yet all the while insisting that there are no decent prospects in their area. (Sometimes, you gotta put the mouse down and turn the computer off)
Fact is, there are. (No matter how small of a town or city you live in). Virtually everywhere there are Black people who would like to change their lifestyle, but who have no clue how to do that. There are also people in need of your product or service. So, what’s the best way to “tap in” to this goldmine of prospects known as the “local market”?
Ill answer this by approaching it from two directions:
1) People you naturally come in contact with and
2) Services that can put you in contact with even more people who may be candidates for becoming Black Business Builders or participating in your opportunity (or product/service).
To get started, let’s define terms.
“Local Market Prospects” refer to people who live or work in the same general area as you. In other words, people you come in contact with (or COULD come in contact with) on a daily basis.
They are not necessarily people you know (although they can be).
Approach Number One: Think about places you go and the people you cross paths with and practice alert living. Be on the lookout for sharp prospects wherever you go.
Example: You visit a local restaurant. You have a motivated, friendly food server who catches your attention. Right away, you observe this person has great people skills, a strong work ethic and is “on the ball”.
Here’s how you can EASILY prospect this person. Let’s call him “John”, and here’s what you can say:
John, listen I want to thank you for your great service this afternoon, it’s some of the best service I’ve had in a restaurant this year (Now at this, “John” should be all smiles as you’ve just paid him a well deserved compliment). You then proceed: Listen John, I own a business here in the area and always keep an eye out for sharp people and you definitely caught my attention today. Let me ask you a question: do you keep your work options open? (Now, if John really is a sharp, heads-up person what’s he gonna say? Obviously “yes”, to which you respond): Good for you, John. I think you’ll be glad you do! Tell you what, you’re working right now and I’m busy myself, I’m heading off to meet someone, but let’s do this
Let me get your contact information and I’ll drop you a line tomorrow (or when he get’s off later the same day) and give you some more information on what we do and who we’re looking for and see if we’ve got a match”. Then you simply write down his information and you’ve just generated a strong local lead. Now, what makes it so strong is this: you’ve had a chance to MEET your prospect personally, observe their work ethic, their personality, and their people skills. How much stronger is THAT than simply blasting someone’s email or profile page or calling a prospect “cold” on the phone? This is powerful.
And it’s not just limited to restaurants (although people in this industry often make excellent networkers). No, you can do this in virtually anywhere.
Approach Number Two: Now, what can you do to come into contact with qualified local prospects in a “leveraged way”?
Join a lead referral network! These are groups that meet locally and refer prospects to one another.
You simple attend a small meeting in your area and share a little about yourself and your business and you can immediately tap into the leveraged power of business networking.
A great organization for this that I’m aware of is: “Black Business Meetup” or “Business Professionals Meetup“.
They are nationwide and you can get more information by visiting:
http://blackbiz.meetup.com/about/?psize=20&sort=member_count&desc=1
We already have hundreds of NBBTA members from around the country that are members in various areas.
It would be great for us to start “Black Business Builders” chapters in each market we serve using meetups to establish local connections. I’d like to hear your thoughts. You can post them here in our blog or write to blackbusinessbuilders@gmail.com
Be sure to look in your local area and you may find additional organizations like these to expand your reach even further. That’s it’s for today…

4 Secrets to Success Growing Your BBB Network
Secret # 1You must make a 1 year commitment!
Patience is the key. It takes about 1 year before true
“Geometric Progression” begins to take place. It’s no coincidence that:
Most network marketers quit within the first year.
Most network marketers fail.
Network marketers that stick it out for a year or more usually end up becoming the new “Heavy Hitters.”
Secret # 2
Build your downline wide fast!
Make a commitment to recruit a new member into your first level on a daily basis. The program is only $7.
Momentum is a key factor in keeping you dedicated to your efforts. Encourage your Powerline members to become “qualified” themselves within 36 hours.
Secret # 3
The majority of your time should be spent recruiting new people.
Most programs tell you to spend your time training your downline to duplicate your efforts.
Guess What?
We’re all unique.
Some network marketers build downlines with videos.
Some are strong in getting top search engine placements
Some are strong at holding “In Person” or phone meetings
Some use classifieds and email.
You can’t force your downline to be you; you can only help them build their own system.
You’ll also get a major headache trying to work with the people that aren’t going to do anything but quit on you in a few months, if they are not motivated to work a system that’s right for them.
Offer your help and those that are serious and really want to “grow” the business.
Secret # 4
There is no real secret to a large downline!
The “Gurus or Leaders” didn’t build those large downlines. They’re no different than you or I.
Stop The Presses!
If they didn’t build their downline, who did?
Patience + Geometric Progression!
99% of a large downline is built by giving “Geometric Progression” (see below) time to do its work!
So if you want to be a Black Business Builders “Heavy Hitter”, get out there and start recruiting!
* GEOMETRIC PROGRESSIONS AND “BLACK BUSINESS BUILDERS” RECRUITING *
Definition: A geometric progression is a sequence, such as the numbers 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 in which each figure is multiplied by the same factor (in this case 2), in order to obtain the following figure. In MLM, the end result of your geometric progression is the SUM of all the figures from all levels (in this case, 2046 people to your 10th level).
