Black Business Builders
#10 – Have Loyalty
The last quality you should look for in people to join you on your Black Business Builders Success Journey is loyalty. Although this alone does not ensure success in another person, a lack of loyalty is sure to ruin your relationship with him or her. Think of it this way: When you’re looking for potential leaders, if someone you’re considering lacks loyalty, he is disqualified. Don’t even consider taking him on the journey with you because in the end, he’ll hurt you more than help you.
So what does it mean for others to be loyal to you?
* They love you unconditionally. They accept you with your strengths and weaknesses intact. They genuinely care for you, not just for what you can do for them. And they are neither trying to make you into someone you’re not nor putting you on a pedestal.
* They represent you well to others. Loyal people always paint a positive picture of you with others. They may take you to task privately or hold you accountable, but they never criticize you to others.
* They are able to laugh and cry with you as you travel together. Loyal people are willing and able to share your joys and sorrows. They make the trip less lonely.
* They make your dream their dream. Some people will undoubtedly share the journey with you only briefly. You help one another for a while and then go your separate ways. But a few – special few – will want to come alongside you and help you for the rest of the journey. These people make your dream their dream. They will be loyal unto death, and when they combine that loyalty with other talents and abilities, they can be some of your most valuable assets. If you find people like that, take good care of them.
One of the biggest challenges facing the Black community, and especially Black businesses, is loyalty.
Here’s something to think about: The funny thing about loyalty is that the farther you go on the success journey, the more of an issue it becomes.

# 9 – Live Up to Their Commitments
Its been said that commitment is another name for success. And that’s really true. Former newsman, Walter Cronkite said, “I can’t imagine a person becoming a success who doesn’t give this game of life everything he’s got.”
Commitment takes a person to a whole new level when it comes to success. Look at the advantages of commitment as described by motivational speaker Joe Griffith:
“You cannot keep a committed person from success. Place stumbling blocks in his way, and he takes them for stepping stones, and on them he will climb to greatness. Take away his money, and he makes spurs of his poverty to urge him on. The person who succeeds has a program; he fixes his course and adheres to it; he lays his plans and executes them; he goes straight to his goal. He is not pushed this side and that every time a difficulty is thrust his way. If he can’t go over it, he goes through it.”
When the people on your team share your level of commitment, success is inevitable. Commitment helps you overcome obstacles and continue moving forward on the success journey no matter how tough the going gets. It is the key to success in every aspect of life; marriage, business, personal development, hobbies, sports – you name it. Commitment can carry you a very long way.
NBBTA wants to show our Black Business Builders our commitment to your success. We have created another website for you to use for promoting the Black Business Builders program.
One of our existing members said, “this is a program that Black folk are sleeping on for some reason, but those of us who get it got it.”
Well, we’re hoping that more of you “get it” and so here’s the new Bonus site to help you help others to get it.

8. Possess Uncommonly Positive Attitudes
You already know how important a good attitude is to your success. It determines how far you will be able to go on the Black Business Builders success journey. But don’t underestimate the importance of a positive attitude in the people around you either. When you travel with others, you can go only as fast as the slowest person and as far as the weakest one can travel. Having people around you with negative attitudes is like running a race with a ball ad chain on your ankle. You may be able to run for a while, but you’re going to get tired fast, and you certainly won’t be able to run as far as you’d like. Our Black Business Builders program is designed for positive people who want to go the distance and the fastest rate possible. That’s why we pay you instantly. You can decide how many times a day you will earn commissions. It could be 1, 3, 5, 10, 49, or more its up to you and the people you bring on this success journey with you.Having the right attitude and working with the right people will make all the difference in the world. Be sure to be a “right person” yourself.

Finding The Right People: “ Black Business Builders“
7. Providing Inspiring IdeasNineteenth-century author-playwright Victor Hugo observed, “There’s nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”And that’s how we feel about NBBTA‘s Black Business Builders project. Its not a new idea, but it is an “idea whose time has come”.
Ideas are the greatest resource a successful person could eve have. And when you surround yourself with creative people, you’re never at a loss for inspiring ideas. There is a certain “synergy” that takes place when like-minded people come together to do anything. Our idea is to start a movement around the simple idea of ” recycling Black dollars“. Again, this is not a new idea. I personally, have been espousing it for over 25 years. There are other organizations that are also on a mission to start a spark of interest and ignite a flame around this most uplifting idea. Black people coming together and networking around business and money is hot! Its an idea whose time has come.
To further this idea along and make it into a living legacy, I want to encourage you to do all that you can to create momentum within your “Powerlines“. Help them grab hold of this idea and not let it get away from them. You don’t need to push or persuade anyone, because those who see it are those who will do it.
Black Business Builders has established a mechanism to fan the flame and keep the fires burning red hot. You are our inspiration and we thank you.
We have added a new blog to your back office in the “Paid Members Only” Protected Zone. All the newsletters you have received have been archived there and all future newsletters will be found there. So check in and keep the momentum going. Its geometric progression. It starts out small and can grow to any size you can envision and be inspired to reach.
To access your Black Business Builders Blog, you can go directly to: http://blackbusinessbuilders.wordpress.com/
All newsletters from today forward will be published in this area for your continued use and convenience. You will have to visit the website to keep the fires burning. Getting lots of instant payments is your best form of inspiration so get busy and make change a reality.

Finding The Right People: “ Black Business Builders“
6. Equip Others
It’s one thing to attract other people to you and have them join you on the Black Business Builders success journey. It’s another to equip them with a road map for the trip. The best people always give others more than an invitation to join – they provide the means to get them to their success destination. Find out what people want. Find out how much additional income can help them reach their financial destination.
Our program offers anyone who follows the steps to potentially be able to replace their regular income in a relatively short period of time. That’s the “power of the 2-Up“. There many great 2-Up plans on the market that require that you start with $300, $500, $1000 or more and they will generate significant income.
The challenge is always being able to find the “right people” who can come up with the necessary start up amount and who can then also find their first two (2) people, who can come up with the necessary start up amount and then start the duplication process.
In our program, everyone we contact has $7. Our aim is to help them understand the “power of the 2-Up“. By starting with just $7, anyone can potentially earn an ongoing flow of income coming from multiple ” Powerlines“.
Each Powerline sale generates a $5 commission that can grow geometrically …. $5, $10, $20, $40, $80, $160, $320, $640, $1280, $2560, $5,120, $10,240, $20,480, $40,960, $81,920, $163,840 and so on. You get the point (I hope). Will this happen for you? I don’t know. Is it geometrically possible? Yes!
Keep in mind, this is just an illustration of the “power of the 2-Up“. How it works for you, is up to you and the people you introduce. That’s why its so important to find “the right people”.
Some folk you share this with will miss it, because its “only $7″. Its not that big of a deal. Some folk will miss it because, their own primary business promises so much more and they have to focus on that first. Well, I hope everyones primary business gives you all the financial satisfaction it can.
This program was designed to supplement your business with an ongoing cashflow generator that can keep your car note or mortgage payment from being late. It can keep you from having to take on that second job and give you more time to put into your primary business. It can work for you when you’re sleeping.
Plus, it can be fun and exciting to see your email box filling up with all those payments coming to you every day.
Think about this as you search for potential leaders: A person with charisma alone can draw others to him, yet he may not be able to get them to go on the success journey. However, a leader who is an equipper can empower an army of successful people capable of going anywhere and accomplishing almost anything. Its only as we develop others that we permanently succeed ourselves.
The National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) has designed this simple-yet-effective business building tool to assist you in growing and developing yourself as a leader.

5. Attract Other LeadersAs you look for potential leaders to take with you on the “Black Business Builders” success journey, you need to realize that there are really two kinds of leaders: those who attract followers and those who attract other leaders. People who attract and team up only with followers will never be able to do anything beyond what they can personally touch or supervise. For each person they interact with, they’re influencing only one person – a follower. But people who attract leaders influence many other people through their interaction. Their team can be incredible, especially if the leaders they recruit also attract other leaders. Besides the obvious factor of influence, there are other significant differences between people who attract followers and people who attract leaders. Here are a few:
LEADERS WHO ATTRACT FOLLOWERS:Need to be needed.Want recognition.
Focus on others’ weaknesses.
Want to hold on to power.
Spend their time with others.
Are good leaders.
Experience some success.
LEADERS WHO ATTRACT LEADERS:Want to be succeeded.
Want to reproduce themselves.
Focus on others’ strengths.
Want to share power.
Invest their time in others.
Are great leaders.
Experience incredible success.
As you look for people to join you with “Black Business Builders“, look for leaders who attract other leaders. They will be able to multiply your success. But also know this – in the long run, you can only lead people whose leadership ability is less than or equal to your own. To keep attracting better and better leaders, you will have to keep developing your leadership ability. In that way, you and your team will continue growing not only in potential, but also in effectiveness.
The National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) has designed this simple-yet-effective business building tool to assist you in growing and developing yourself as a leader. The best demonstration of our effectiveness is, in the quality of leaders we attract. People who can follow simple instructions, make two payments and log in for access and additional information on how to take their income from where it is to where they want it to be.
For this reason, this will be the last Black Business Builders Newsletter sent out to anyone who has not taken the time to make their membership payment in total of $7. You will still have access to make payment, if there was a technical difficulty, but you will not be in position to utilize any benefits, earn any income or receive any additional training from us. We wish you well in whatever else you do.
For those of you who are our leaders, we will continue to provide you with access to information and opportunities for increased income. We thank you for being a part of the solution and not a part of the problem.

“Every Month is BLACK BUSINESS AWARENESS Month“
Newsletter #4
Hello NBBTA MEMBERS & BLACK BUSINESS BUILDERS CommUNITY,
I have gotten some terrific feedback from people who have been enjoying this series of newsletter briefs. They have told me that they have gotten more out of the information presented in this low-cost program, then in some others costing them hundreds to get started and with ongoing monthly fees.Actually, this information come from NBBTA‘s Black Entrepreneurial Success Training (B.E.S.T.) Workshop. The B.E.S.T. Workshop is a program that we took on the road and taught for many years in several cities around the country. The goal we have with sharing this and other information with you is to build you up. We want you to help you help us build up our ongoing campaign of “Black Business Awareness“. We know that having strong and viable Black owned and operated businesses, in the long run will help stem the tide of negative and adverse conditions within Black communty sectors. Our aim is to ignite and then uplift, empower and inspire the ” entrepreneurial spirit” among Black peoples everywhere.
The “Black Business Builders” project is a very simple, yet effective way to learn the systems of co-operative economics, networking and collective financial advancement.
The main thing, is for each of us to do our part to make the project work. Each of us have to enroll just a few people each and help them do the same. We have to get a “rhythm” or momentum going. That shouldn’t be difficult. Afterall, we are a rhythmic people and when we are in rhythm, we can do anything we choose.
However, have you ever seen a choir singing at church and everyone is clapping on the beat, except one or two in the front row? Get that picture in your mind. (I hope you’re not one of them) Those two, are at the least a distraction. And they could possibly throw the whole choir off beat and make the congregation miss its blessing.
Have you ever been to a Black social function and the DJ starts an “Electric Slide“? And as people start to gather out on the dance floor, you’ll see one or two people who are not in step … off the beat … don’t know any of the moves and just are out there “doing their thing” and bumping others around … getting everyone near them out of step. Well, its the same thing in business or in network marketing, as you build your organization.
If you are off, you’re going to get everyone around you off. If you don’t know the steps, you’re going to cause confusion. You’re going to slow momentum and cause folk on the dance floor sideline to decide not to join the crowd. If you’re not adding value, you’re the problem.
And for so many of us, this has been the case. Our intentions are good, but we don’t know the “steps” or the “beat” and are not in rhythm. And worst of all, won’t take the time to get it straight. We’d rather “fake it until we make it”. I see so many entrepreneurs with great potential who squander their leadership talent by not getting the basics down.
When we created “Black Business Builders“, we wanted to keep it as simple as possible, because we knew that some people would jump in and not get the basics. Not take the time to read the website. Not take time to understand fully the power of a 2-Up compensation and how it could potentially outdo any current business they are working. Not getting the basics down costs everyone.
Our objective with this training, is to help those that need to get it straight, and not fumble around and throw everyone else off course. Adding “your own flavor” is fine. Just like in the “Electric Slide “, you can add your own interpretation. But you’ve got to know the basics before you just improvise.
Black people can rely too much on our ability to improvise. In certain instances, you can’t do that. They say that “luck” is where “opportunity” and “preparedness ” meet. The better your “luck” the more money you will make.
So if you want to have the potential to make $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 a month or more with a program that only cost you $7 bucks, then start clapping on the two and four. Start doing the step asked of you and get your first two or three people enrolled and trained properly. Be prepared.
Black Business Builders can put your whole financial house in order. Take the time to learn the basics. Reach out to those in your back office who haven’t paid and influence them to pay. You’ll see an ” N” by their names. Let’s get this dance started right. We’re small now but as this thing grows we’ve all got to be in sync. The rhythm and pace we set could positively impact many generations to come.
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green

Finding The Right People:
“Black Business Builders” and ” Black Business Advocates”
3. Influence Others
I mentioned before that everything rises and falls on leadership. That’s true because a person’s ability to make things happen in and through others depends entirely on his/her ability to lead them. Without leadership, there is no teamwork, and people go their own way, and do their own “thing” (?).
If your dream is big and will require the teamwork of a group of people, then any potential leaders you select to go with you on the Black Business Builders success journey will need to be people of influence. After all, that’s what leadership is – influence. And when you think about it, all leaders have two things in common. They’re going somewhere, and they’re able to persuade others to go with them.
As you look at the people around you, consider the following:
1. Who Influences Them? You can tell a lot about who they will influence and how they will go about doing it by knowing who their heroes and mentors are.
2. Who Do They Influence? You’ll be able to judge their current level of leadership effectiveness by who they influence.
3. Is Their Influence Increasing or Decreasing? You can tell whether a person is a past leader or a potential leader by examining which direction the level of leadership is going. (See chart below: Highest to Lowest)
Highest
Influence Everyone
Influence Those Over Them
Influence Those Beside Them
Influence Those Under Them
Influence No One
Lowest
To be a good judge of potential leaders, don’t just see the person – see all the people that person influences. The greater the influence, the greater the leadership potential and the ability to get others to work with you to accomplish your dreams.
How much of an influencer are you? Can you “influence” two or more people to make a $7 decision. That should be pretty easy, but can you also influence them to take the actions of a leader and continue to influence others to do the same? Something to think about as you go about being a ” Black Business Builder“.
Make it a great week this week. Be certain to enroll your two “qualifiers”, if you haven’t already done so, and get in position to start building your “powerlines”. Its all “gravy” from there. Find your influencers. Work with them to find and build their team. Log into your back office to track your level of influence. Black Business Builders are leaders.

Hello NBBTA CommUNITY,
Finding The Right People:
“Black Business Builders” and ” Black Business Advocates”
2. See and Seize Opportunities
Many people are able to recognize an opportunity after it has already passed them by. But seeing opportunities coming, that’s a different matter. Good opportunities are seldom labeled. That’s why you have to learn what they look like and how to seize them.
The best people to take with you on your Black Business Builders success journey don’t sit back and wait for opportunities promote the program to come to them. They make it their responsibility to go out and find them. It’s similar to the two ways you can go about picking up someone you don’t know from the airport. One way is to make a sign with the name of the person you’re expecting, stand near the baggage claim area, hold up the sign, and wait for the person to find you. If he sees you, great. If he doesn’t, you keep waiting. The other way is to find out what the person looks like, position yourself strategically near the right gate, and search for him until you find him. There is a world of difference between the two approaches.
I would like to amend the idea of being at the right place at the right time. There are many people who were in the right place but didn’t know it. You have to recognize when the right place and the right time fuse and take advantage of that opportunity. There are plenty of opportunities out there. The reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when the right opportunity knocks on the front door, they are out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers.
As yourself: Of the people around you, who always seems able to recognize good opportunities and grab hold of them? The people with these qualities are the ones you’re probably going to want to take with you on the success journey.

Newsletter #1
Hello NBBTA CommUNITY,
The National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA) has launched a new campaigned designed to help stimulate the “recycling of Black dollars” among its members and community. The program is called ” Black Business Builders“.
This is a joint correspondence going to both current and existing NBBTA members, who have the distinction of being called, ”Black Business Advocates” and to “ Black Business Builders“, as designated in our latest program.
This information is sent to help you in any area of your business, but is targeted in you to build your “Black Business Builders” network. The hope is, that as a result of this training material you will be better equipped to grow your network and in doing so, increase your cashflow.
Finding the Right People to Work With YouHaving exceptional people on your “Black Business Builders entrepreneurial journey “doesn’t happen by accident. It’s true that the greater your dreams, the greater the people who will be attracted to you. But that alone isn’t enough. You need to know what to look for in order to find the best possible people. And you need to start by making sure they’re compatible with you and your dream.
There are some steps to take to make this journey as smooth as possible. First let me start by saying that this is not your typical “run and gun”, ”flash and blast” nutwork marketing program. Yeah, I said it, “nut work”. This program will not be for everyone. So take time to look for those qualities that will work to make the building of your network function smoothly.
Even before you begin looking at the qualities that make a person right for going on the journey with you, you need to ask yourself a few questions about them. The first one is, “Does this person want to go? ” That is a hard one, if you’re like me, I wanted everyone to take everyone with me. I just assumed that everybody wanted what I did – to be successful and to strive to reach his or her full potential. But that’s not the case. Many people have no desire to grow whatsoever. Their goal is to find a comfortable place so that they can go on “cruise control” for the rest of their lives.
And a person may not want to go on this journey with you for other reasons. For example, he may want to grow as much as you do, and his interests and attention span don’t coincide with yours. And as a result there is no compatibility. Black folk can start out on the same page and before you know it, get distracted by some “other peoples” business opportunity or latest fad or craze. Then they want to take everyone with them and tear down what you built up. So be very careful. Folk will play you to get access to your information. And think you can’t see what they’re trying to do. It has happened in every Black movement in modern times.
The second question you need to ask is, “Is this person able to go?” There has to be a match between the journey you want to take and the person’s gifts and talents. Anyone with no talent or gifts may slow you down or hinder your progress. Keep in mind, I am talking here about your “key people”. They’ve got to bring something to the table besides a knife and a fork.
The third question you should ask is, “Can this person make the trip without me?” You can look at some people and know they have everything it takes to make the “entrepreneurial success journey” on their own. They have their own road map and are not going to need your help. In fact, they are likely to be in position to take others on the journey with them, just as you are going to do. In that case, keep in touch with them and build rapport. They are the kind of people you are looking for. Our ” Black Business Builders” program is designed for people like this, but only when they are ready. Not a moment sooner.
Once you’ve settled these issues, you’re ready to look for key people whom you will be able to help reach their potential and who will also help you reach yours. And that means finding potential leaders. Everything rises and falls on leadership.
Build your “Black Business Builders” network with leaders and you will be successful.
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green, Chairman
PS. If you are not yet a member of NBBTA our dues are a one-time, life-time $59.95 and comes with a powerful 3×7 matrix compensation plan. One of your first goals is to use the “Black Business Builders” program to pay your way into NBBTA. Contact your sponsor and join only when you’re ready.
Note: If you have signed up for the “Black Business Builders” program and not completed your two payments of $5 to your “qualified sponsor” and $2 to NBBTA. You will not earn any commissions whatsoever. You will still have access to the site and get correspondences but will not make a dime with us. So go log in and get that taken care of today.
PS. Please also log in to your “Black Business Builders” site – http://www.nbbta.org/member.html and check your email addresses. We have manually cleansed this list but will not be able to do this in the future as more people join us. Update your profile and contact info so that you will be paid instantly and receive future correspondence. We will not otherwise be responsible for those types of delays.
